These are considered light contact by CSAC no regulation needed. No Doctor or Ambulance required. They are allowed to strike the head and some styles you can win by knockout. So if I call it Point Pankration and strike the head will it be considered light contact like all the other Martial Arts. Because if we don’t strike the head CSAC claims it Full Contact and stict regulation needed. So confused here.

This Sports MMA event was allowed also by CSAC when Pankration was banned. The Pankration promoter refused the head strike rule and wore the unsafe head gear where a Jr. competitor had a neck injury by wearing the head gear. CSAC Inspector Larry Irvin was at the event and allowed it also with no regulation needed. Just don’t call it Pankration. The CSAC has no jurisdiction over this sport. Just want to harass pankration promoters. Here is more proof.

At this hearing which will be in the minutes Dr. Lemons once again tells all the Commissioners that Pankration is not Full Contact and no regulation is needed for this light contact Martial Art known as Pankration. He is a doctor on Neurology, Black Belt in Karate and a Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu. He is the most educated person in Martial Arts on this board.
