These are considered light contact by CSAC no regulation needed. No Doctor or Ambulance required. They are allowed to strike the head and some styles you can win by knockout. So if I call it Point Pankration and strike the head will it be considered light contact like all the other Martial Arts. Because if we don’t strike the head CSAC claims it Full Contact and stict regulation needed. So confused here.
THE CALIFORNIA STATE ATHLETIC COMMISSION CONSIDERS POINT KARATE TOURNAMENTS LIGHT CONTACT WHERE KIDS GET KNOCKED OUT. HOW CAN THE CSAC DECLARE PANKRATION THAT DOES NOT ALLOW HEAD STRIKES A FULL CONTACT MARTIAL ART WHERE STRICT SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT REGULATION IS REQUIRED, BUT CONSIDER KARATE WITH HEAD STRIKES LIGHT CONTACT AND NO REGULATION IS NEEDED.

Kyokushin Kai Karate Considered Light Contact by CSAC
Tae Kwon Kids are allowed to kick the head. CSAC says light contact while no head striking Pankration is Full Contact. Clueless in California.
After Andy Foster attended this Head Striking Sports MMA tournament he said to me that this is light contact no regulation needed. Clueless in California. Head Striking MMA light contact no head striking Pankration Full Contact.
SPORTS MMA CHAMPIONSHIPS: 10-26-2014
This Sports MMA event was allowed also by CSAC when Pankration was banned. The Pankration promoter refused the head strike rule and wore the unsafe head gear where a Jr. competitor had a neck injury by wearing the head gear. CSAC Inspector Larry Irvin was at the event and allowed it also with no regulation needed. Just don’t call it Pankration. The CSAC has no jurisdiction over this sport. Just want to harass pankration promoters. Here is more proof.
NEWSPAPER ARTICLE PROVING SPORTS MMA EVENT WAS ALLOWED WHILE NO HEAD STRIKING PANKRATION WAS BANNED.
CSAC INSPECTOR LARRY IRVIN AT THE SPORTS MMA EVENT. NO PROBLEM. DON’T CALL THE SPORT PANKRATION. IT CAN GO ON.
UNSAFE CSAC FORCING KIDS TO WEAR HEAD GEAR IN A NON HEAD STRIKING EVENT WHICH CSAC DECLARED HEADGEAR WAS UNSAFE FOR ADULTS TO WEAR. WOULDN’T KIDS COME FIRST FOR SAFETY.

Above law says light contact is when you don’t strike the head. Why is it in Clueless California if you strike the head it’s light contact and if you don’t strike the head it is full contact.
How is no head striking Pankration Full Contact and this below is considered light contact with head striking. Clueless in California
CAN SOMEONE FROM THE CSAC SUBCOMMITTEE EXPLAIN IN WRITING TO ME, WHY CAN A MARTIAL ART THAT CAN STRIKE THE HEAD AND WIN BY KNOCKOUT PLUS CAUSE A POSSIBLE DEATH BE CONSIDERED LIGHT CONTACT. NO DOCTOR OR AMBULANCE REQUIRED. AND WHY IS A MARTIAL ART KNOWN AS PANKRATION THAT DOESN’T STRIKE THE HEAD AND HAS NEVER CAUSED A DEATH BE CONSIDERED FULL CONTACT BY CSAC. ALSO REQUIRING A DOCTOR AND AMBULANCE. CLUELESS IN CALIFORNIA!

Tragedy: Head injury to Danish celebrity in Anaheim appears to be first fatality in U.S. championship’s eight years.
California State Athletic Commissioner Dr. Lemons says Pankration is Light Contact and the State has no Jurisdiction to Regulate:
VanBuren Ross Lemons, M.D. is a board certified neurosurgeon in private practice in Northern California with a longstanding interest in traumatic injuries to the brain and spine. He graduated from the University of California, Davis, where he was awarded Summa Cum Laude distinction. While in college, Dr. Lemons competed in varsity football and wrestling. After completing medical school at the University of California, Davis, Dr. Lemons completed his postgraduate neurosurgical training at UC Davis Medical Center. He has published numerous articles on neurosurgical topics, especially traumatic injuries. Dr. Lemons has earned a black belt in Shotokan Karate and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has served for eighteen years as a ringside physician and consultant to the California State Athletic Commission.
September 3, 2014 there was a CSAC teleconferance to illegally delegate the light contact art of Pankration to USFL. At this hearing which will be in the minutes Dr. Lemons once again tells all the Commissioners that Pankration is not Full Contact and no regulation is needed for this light contact Martial Art known as Pankration. He is a doctor on Neurology, Black Belt in Karate and a Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu. He is the most educated person in Martial Arts on this board.
HERE IS WHAT EX CSAC EXECUTIVE OFFICER DAVE THORTON SAID ABOUT THE MARTIAL ART KNOWN AS PANKRATION:
Has C.A.M.O. Posted False Information on Pankration?
CSAC Dave Thorton says that you can go through the CSAC for Pankration, knowing by now that Pankration is not full contact and you don’t have to involve it with CAMO.
“They do not have full control over pankration. They do not have the exclusive authority to regulate Pankration in California. We do not want CAMO in California. Pankration was doing fine until this corrupt CAMO came around. It is Extortion if they try and regulate it,” says Thorton.
THIS IS CONSIDERED LIGHT CONTACT BY CSAC WITH KICKS ALLOWED TO THE HEAD. NO PROTECTIVE GEAR WORN. PANKRATION HAS NO STRIKES TO THE HEAD WITH PROTECTIVE GEAR AND IT IS CONSIDERED FULL CONTACT BY CSAC/DCA. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE IGNORANCE OF CSAC/DCA.
CLUELESS IN CALIFORNIA ON NO HEAD STRIKE PANKRATION
ONLY IN CALIFORNIA THEY CLAIM A FLYING KNEE TO THE HEAD IS LIGHT CONTACT AND NO REGULATION NEEDED. IF YOU DON’T STRIKE THE HEAD IT IS CONSIDERED FULL CONTACT AND OVER REGULATION IS NEEDED. CLUELESS IN CALIFORNIA
Amazing KYoukushin Karate KO-Jumper Knee Kick To Head
THIS TYPE OF DAMAGE IS CONSIDERED LIGHT CONTACT KARATE IN CALIFORNIA BY ANDY FOSTER AND CSAC. BUT IF YOU DON’T STRIKE THE HEAD IT IS FULL CONTACT AND EXPENSIVE OVER REGULATION NEEDED. CLUELESS!
THE ABOVE PICTURE SHOWS WHAT A FLYING KNEE CAN DO TO AN OPPONENT. OUR CLUELESS CSAC HAS RULED A FLYING KNEE LIGHT CONTACT NO REGULATION NEEDED. BUT IF YOU DON’T STRIKE THE HEAD AS IN PANKRATION IT IS RULED FULL CONTACT AND EXPENSIVE OVER REGULATION NEEDED. THIS HAS CAUSED THE SAFE MARTIAL ART OF PANKRATION TO GO INTO EXTINCTION FOR ADULTS. THERE HASN’T BEEN ONE ADULT PANKRATION TOURNAMENT IN CALIFORNIA SINCE THIS RIDICULOUS RULING. NOW THE KIDS ARE SUFFERING ALSO. PANKRATION IS NOT FULL CONTACT. HOW CAN THESE CLUELESS COMMISSIONERS ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE. HERE ARE FOUR EXAMPLES OF A CSAC LIGHT CONTACT FLYING KNEE.
